We're not doing films at WE Fest this year, but if you're interested in working long hours for no money to help us organize a showcase of kickass indie, DIY, and web-based films for our 2009 event, drop Kenyata a line.
If you have a genuinely homegrown DIY film project you'd like to promote, we'd be happy to distribute promo DVDs, posters, stickers, or t-shirts to attendees on your behalf for free. If you have an independent or studio film you'd like to promote, our rates are quite affordable, but we'll only take your money if your movie doesn't suck.
Check out our friends over at Cucalorus who have been running a film festival here in Wilmington for as long as we've been running our little shindig.
